Hi, Larry. The flowers are on a very small low-lying bush. As I am botanically challenged, I only can say they are not apple blossoms. As to exposure, the light was pretty bright, and I used aperture priority at f:16 to get depth of focus with the lens fully extended to 135mm (216mm equiv.)and only a few inches from the flowers. The 1/1000 was to minimize shake. To get that, the required ISO was only 200. Hope that helps . . . ;-) --g

Larry Fosse comments on fast shutter affecting your background, see still a aperature of 16, not sure how this works then?? Very fast ISO too??

Wonderful presentation George...You found a large clump which makes a beautiful bouquet..I see you tried the super fast shutter speed which is what I used to create all the great backgrounds
Superb job George

Excellent capture George... The formation of these flowers is brilliant & fits the title you have given the image very well.
Stunning clarity in this picture & love how you have brought that out with the blurred background.
Sue xx Thank you for your comment on my 'Sunset Graze' Photo, greatly appreciated as always.
