Michael,

This is stunning! My favorite so far of all your images. The DOF, and level of detail that you've captured with the branches is amazing. That one power/phone pole screen right is so perfectly hidden, and adds a very cool aspect to a very organic shot. The green holds up very well! I bet this looks amazing 1:1.

well done!

best,
-Joel

Point well made - will have to wait until another season unless you Canadians can wave your arms and push that weather back down here to Kansas...

Hi Michael, apart from the centered composition (making it a bit static) I think the mood and atmosphere is very strong in this shot. The almost ominous silhouettes of the trees create a lot of tension. This photo would also do well in B&W, if not for the centered composition and single vanishing point, but that's just my pavloved reaction on my own preferences....

Cheers,

Hugo

Fantastic image and great mood. Like the road of life, you don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow, but you're walking it.
