About Couldn't resist taking a photo with a sun spot - the glow through the trees made it look like a colorful star.

Thanks Opal - really like the one you did called Florida Reflection and the one called Deep Reflection. We lived in the Ft. Walton Beach area (hubby stationed at Eglin AFB) 1980-82, and except for the humidity, the palmetto bugs, the biting yellow flies (;-) we really liked it there. Wonderful skies and the Miracle Mile was super with the turquoise water and white sand. Also liked looking at the trees with the Spanish Moss hanging down (I did an oil painting of those moss-draped trees that were surrounding a lake in Defuniak Springs) Visiting your portfolio is being able to visit Florida again. Thanks.

Everything I have learned about PS -- (which is not nearly all there is to know!) -- I learned by doing just what you are doing. There will be no stopping you when you learn layers because you can move leaves and all sorts of bits of your image by isolating them. And when you have two images open you can easily copy or drag one into the other by single layers or linked groupings. A spic & span house is very overrated.

So Evelyn - do you give lessons? I don't have a clue as to how to take parts of one photo and add it to another. Haven't gotten that far in PS yet. Yet! So, who needs to do housework? LOL

Now THAT is a glorious sunflare to be very proud of! Save it for special photos you want to add one to ;D. (I would, you know!) Aside from that -- the composition of this is fun and the sunflare almost looks like it has a mop of unruly hair with the palm leaves. This one is fun!

Thank you Mary. I appreciate the comment. The three sunsets in my recent uploads were all taken from our backyard - and I have seen some beautiful sunrises and sunsets (not to mention rainstorms and double rainbows) in the 8 years we have been in this home. Jan
