I'm so sorry about your cat. I know how hard it is to lose one.
Isabelle is sweet, but she is very particular. I have to pet her exactly the way that she wants or she will yell at me--it pretty funny. She hates being brushed out--as soon as she sees the brush come out she turns into a different cat and it isn't pretty. So, I get her shaved at least twice a year--she's overdue now. The lion cut is sooooo cute and it makes her so much happier. Thanks for you comment. :)

I know all about Persians! But our old guy died last year and now we have two from the local shelter that are wonderful in their own ways. YOur persian is gorgeous!!!! Does she enjoy being brushed? Ours didn't so he got shaved occasionally ; the lion cut is hysterical. Maybe I should post one. Anyhow . . . I think you handled this portrait in a beautiful way and the Persian attitude comes across perfectly by the look in her eye and the tilt of her head! Red is an appropriate backdrop and the framing fits well. Prima Donna?
