Thankyou Sam.

It is shots like this, took with my P&S that started me down the path of wishing i had more control over my photos. Whilst i got some pretty good results - such as this - it is always hard to judge 9the fact that the bee in not in sharp focus is testament to this.

Thank you for you appreciation.

great picture with a wonderful colour composition and a well balanced depth of field.... just enough backgroung to put it in perspective... I like to see people setting themselfs free from the 2.8 apperture terror

Beautiful image. Excellent composition with the flower on one side and the view on the other. I love the background and the fuschia bloom.
About the bee, I tried selective sharpening just on him. It made some difference but I didn't feel it saved it. This is an excellent shot with or without the bee.

Thank you Judi -

your comment too is really appreciated. From yours and roberto's comments - I may upload one of the other shots i took on this day (with no bee) to see what everyone thinks.

Thank you again judi!

Thank you Roberto. i did try a little sharpening in PS - but wasn't happy with it so got rid of it.

This was take with a Nikon P&S so was very difficult to judge focus at the time.

Thanks for your comment.

Even without the bee this is a beautiful image. The tones of the flower and the way the flower spreads out across the image directs the attention over everything you have captured.

Very well done and thankyou so much for your fantastic comments on my images. I really appreciate them and love reading them.
