Hi Cristina, and thanks for your comment today about my 'cows' shot. Your right about the noise which I suppose is a combination of grain from the 200 film, the processing and of course the dreaded compression. I notice that with a lot of green or a lot of detail (like your 'Foam' here) I get problems with file size. I do like this close shot of the weir and how the water and foam create a diagonally split frame into three stages of turbulence. See this rather larger weir close to me http://www.usefilm.com/image/754244.html Best wishes, Ian

Really nice shot Cris, that's a very good location for trying different things with your camera. Try going later in the afternoon when it's getting dark, with a tripod, and set your camera to different appertures and exposures, do various shots at different settings (1, 2, 5 seconds) and check the results.
All the best,
Francisco

Bella diagonale! Bella composizione! Devo dire che perņ preferisco l'immagine closer che hai postato in seguito... la spaccatura tra la cascata e il riflusso rende suggestiva l'immagine.
Brava, complimenti!
