I think I prefer it in colour as well! The colors are so vivid and complimentary to her fair hair/skin and lovely blue eyes! Fantastic image, I love it!

Very sweet. Its almost too cute :) I think you used the fill flash very good. Keeping it low is a good idea. It fills the dark fron but doesn't reveal itself as additional light source. Using too much fill flash quickly looks like studio and sometimes cheesy. The colors are excelent!
