Thanks! Yep in Japan. The originals. they are everywhere in Japan and last week they were at their peak in Tokyo. Now Im trying to capture the fallen petals that get scattered everywhere and looks very cool, but hard to capture just right.Visit again for more blossom shots that I will be posting for the next week or so.

Thanks for doing that Jasmine. I appreciate you taking valuable time to play with my photos. The image is a bit small so I cant really get a good look at it. Im using mac iPhoto software that lets me adjust bightness, contrast, saturation, temperature, tint, sharpness, straighten and exposure. No photoshop in my arsenal yet. I have seen some really cool ir shots at this site and wish I could do the same. Anyway, have a great day and thanks again. Im going to be on the lookout for your ir shots.

here it is. I did it in PS. I recently bought a IR filter R72 because I wanted to see the difference between the filter and the digitally convert one. I prefer the one from the filter.

this is beautiful, i dun have to go Japan to see this. Thanks for helping me to save on the travel fees. Recently i am into IR, first thing I thought of was..this will look cool too in IR. what do u think?

at first I thought that this photo was taken in Washington D.C. because of the cherry blossoms but it only makes sense to be in Japan since the tree in D.C were donated from Japan as well :) I love the colors and although there seems to be parts of the photo that are washed out ... the overall effect on the image is great.. nicely seen and captured.. good work

Molto originale, ottimi colori.
Personalmente avrei tentato di aumentare la profonditą di campo in modo tale che questo mare rosa formato dai fiori fosse il pił nitido possibile.

Eric, Sometimes images of multiple trees and blooms can be too much for the frame. That is NOT the case with this shot. You did a wonderful job composing this shot with the dark limbs and the beautiful pink flowers. Very well done. -- Debby
