Wat an eye you have, George, finding beauty in the simplicity of shadow!
Thank you for your very generous comment on my "Fate of our car 2."
Thank you for your kind words about my "Fate of our car." As I wrote when I first posted the photos of the totalled car (not in P.S.), the car was crashed by a piece of concrete that dislocated from the wall because of a fire next door. All this happened at night, so that nobody was hurt. The car was a total loss and the insurance company paid more than we could have received for the car had we wanted to sell it.

the geometric interplay betw. the shadows and lines make the image - but it is the quality of light resulting from your choice of toning I appreciate?
I see connects here with ?Iron lace?, ?Sunburst??
We polished off a bottle of very fine, fruity, black cherried Pinot Noir with dinner just now? I suspect my ?connections? are suspect?

Great shadow study. Shadows can be as interesting, even if not quite as colorful, as reflections.

I have always meant to do a project about shadows but never have, you have an eye for these things so maybe it's your turn!?
Interesting patterns and textures, I find myself wondering what the fence looks like that created the shadow. :~}
