A sensitive contrast - the bright colours of the girls' clothes, the disconcerting expression on the face of the younger one, contrasting with the dark, uncaring wheels of the vehicles nearby. Using the frame was a very good idea.

These two little children look so vulnerable, unprotected, and close to be run over by the big SUVs. Such a contrast of poverty and wealth. Great job. 7+ Regards, Andree

Dear Francisco, First of all, I am so grateful to know that these innocent children have touched your heart, and that's really a first step to take. They live in the marginal area around this street. What makes me really sad is the fact that actually they can live better instead of breathing the polluted air and the dangers of being near the moving vehicles. Somehow I want to blame their parents, for being so ignorant about this, but again, perhaps the situation has urged them to do this. Francisco, you've opened my eyes about sharing how other kids in the world live. Perhaps by giving them dolls (beside food), it might slightly help them. Thank you, and God bless you. Regards, Hanggan

Dear Hangann, your photography is becoming a conduit to show the disparities we live in. It's so remarkable to witness the girls sitting in the curb with the high-end SUV's roaming in the background; it's so sad that we have become so desensitized to poverty, I bet you anything that these drivers see them every day in their way to work and not ***really*** noticed the living conditions in which these children grow and develop to become members of our society. You, as the photographer, have opened your eyes to us, helping us see these realities at their eye level.
Now, what do we do about it? My girls are these girls ages and that is reason why this is so shocking to me, it really brought tears to my eyes. I'm so terrified to have them out of my sight, so protected and safe. Perhaps the change starts by sharing with them the facts of how most of the world live.
Thanks my friend.
Francisco

Yes my friend, we're all ignorant, well at least I feel like I'm one of them ignorants... It's so sad to know that thousands of little kids like her and her sister crawling around the streets asking for money, just to stay alive. A very well captured subject my friend, you also capture all the details very well, colors, tones, even small hole in the sister's dress...
