Great job ! Just a tiny correction on the curves (Photoshop) would brighten up the yellow more. Peter

NP, Rafi-- I go by C.A. alot, so I was using that. Now I have "christine" as part of my log on... easier, I think.
About the 4800, it isn't on par with my D70, but I think it's a bit better than the canon AI SI I was trying out. At least it has a macro mode. Easier to carry around, too-- but the jury is still out on it. I have seven more days to return it.
Boy, Usefilm is really slow these days... hope they fix the problems soon!

Sory, Christine. I should have looked beneath your beautiful photo and my "problem" would have solved itself. I think I had a Nikon coolpix 4800 once, but the camera and I did not get along so well with each other as you do with yours, so after some to and fro I ended with my Fuji Finepix S7000, with which, until a TTL comes along, I don't intend to part. Best regards, Rafi

Hi Rafi--
I'm Christine-- glad to meet you again!
Thanks for looking and commenting on my little weed picture, I'm trying out a new point and shoot-- it's actually a Nikon 4800- that I can carry with me easily, as opposed to my D70 and all the gear, which will be for when I actually have time to go and take pictures. The macro on the 4800 seems to be pretty good, so I may end up keeping it... we'll have to see.

As this not our fist meeting on these pages, I would like to suggest that we switch to first names. I, as you probably know, am Rafi, but how am I to refer to you? Your photo looks like the sun at high noon, whereas it is just a simple wild weed. You must have peformed magic. Thank you for your very generous comment on my "Fantasy in black and white." Best regards, Rafi
