nice image.. I like the lighting and tones, the shadows on the face may be a bit strong but I dont think it distracts from the overall composition. The subjects are great.. nicely seen and captured... good work

It's interesting that it's no longer a photograph, but more than that. It's an emotional and intellectual response, not pity but empathy and admiration. It lets the viewer look at himself...a racist would look down on these children, while a well-adjusted human being would see beyond the complexion and the hair color and the color of the eyes, and see just children and knowing that they too struggle as we do or once did.
