now you mention it yes i can see now haha as of yet i have never took a maro as my camera dont have this funtion but later i will get a better one . my camera wont do close ups sadly

Thanks Robert, have you noticed how mutch of the actual image that don?t get in the picture when you use macro - had luck that this flower got on - many did not

This is an excellent macro shot of the orchid, Mats! The colours are really nice and I like the angle that you used to shoot the flower - it gives an interesting perspective. Nice frame too!
The background could perhaps have been a bit more blurred, but the photo is very nice as it is now.

I think the title is excellent! Great choice. I love how the texture on those petals make them look like velvet and the white stamen appears to have the eyes and beak of a bird. An enchanting flower.
