Lee: Luckily, the lens and convertor combination I have are sharp. I have heard of those that are not. I tried a 500mm from Canon with both the 1.4 and 2 power extenders and it worked beautifully with both. I did not try the 100-400 with the 2x before sending it back to Canon. Thanks again for the comments.

Cecilia: Yes, our local lions are called cougars among other names. Cougars are very rare and elusive animals. I hope to see one in the wild someday. Thank you for your comments.

very tender capture. When i saw the title I was thinking to coguars (is it the right word to name the lion who lives in Colorado?). But at last they are two of the most innocent animals. Cecilia
