Hola Kim: Al fin alguien me hizo saber mis errores y analiza friamente mi foto, muchas gracias y te seguiré agradeciendo por tus claros y acertados consejos. He visto tus trabajos y son muy profesionales, te cuento que yo sólo soy un "dummie" en fotografia, pues recién he adquirido esta cámara y he descubierto que me gusta mucho la fotografia, pero no he estudiado nada acerca del tema, y todo lo estoy haciendo por instinto.... Nuevamente gracias danieloyola@hotmail.com
The focus is well handled here as the yellow stamen is very sharp and stands out as a main focus of this image. The lighting seems overly harsh, though, like it was from an on-camera flash. This has made the flower look like a one dimentional cut out, and has given the petals a very flat look. If there isn't a lot of available light, try putting the camera on a tripod (or resting on a flat surface) and using a flashlight to light the flower as you take the picture. This way you can mold the light to flatter the flower and as well, with a longer shutter speed, get some nice background colour. Now that I've said all of that, I'm not sure how much room you have to move with the Nikon Coolpix... can you change the aperture and shutter speed? Have fun experimenting.
