James, I know what you mean about the impact of the clouds. On those days when we are fortunate to have the big, puffy, cumulus clouds - there is no doubt, its photo time. I hope all is well with you, best regards. Mark

simplicity is the right name for this shot. i never would have guessed its pennsylvania tho.... looks more western to me. but then again the west is flatter. the clouds are the most poignant element of the photo in my mind.... i never seem to see that cloud formation here in asia. it always just seems to be a big blanket of grey here.

a wonderful country landscape shot-- I can almost feel the crispness of the air on my face and the smell of manure in my nostrils... well done, Mark!!

Roger, Thanks for your comment. I'm not sure if it is versatility, or the lack of a personal style. But, for now, let's go with the more pleasing "versatility" concept. Thanks again. Mark

I'm astonished at your versatility. This traditional, beautiful B&W next to the amazing collage of city nails (?)... wow! I like Fuji Neopan, but these days usually shoot colour neg. and desaturate for B&W.

Wonderful landscape with a great mood, love the detail in the grass especially - and that sky is amazing as well. Thanks for your comment.

Apparently simplicity:-) Nature is always amazing in its creations, look at the clouds. The landscape is peaceful in spite of the couds. Good perspective and light.
