A very strong and bold photograph indeed. Good composition and fantastic textures, and contrasts. Excellent choice in the black and white. I think color would be distracting, take away from the man and what he is doing. He looks quite old.
Very nice image Khaled! And I liked reading about this picture also.
Good job, Lori ;)

Hi Armando, Thanx for your nice and reassuring words. It's true that the evil lies within the people and not the religions. Muslims all over the world feel great sorrow for the wrong picture other cultures have created in their minds for us after the september 11 events. Terrorism is seen in other religions and countries, we don't forget the Eta organization of Spain or the IRA of Ireland. Do you think that occupation of independant countries and killing the civils as in Bosnia, Palestine, Afghanistan or Iraq and sooner will be Syria is not terrorism !!!!!!!! Ged bless you my friend, take care, Khaled.

Dear friend and brother: excellent picture, but mainly I congratulate you for your wise words. I believe that what you say is applied to all the religious beliefs, (I refer to the pray) gives me pleasure to know something about the Islam thanks to you. Our religions are so different and with so many coincidences at the same time that in fact it is true that God is everywhere and it is who represents to the good in all the existent religions, pitifully there are people that see mistakenly the Islam as something terrible after that happened in the twin towers, because anything has to do a thing with the other one, I know that there are bad people in all the religions, but that doesn't have to do with the religion, because are those bad people that make the wickedness, not the religions. I don't believe that there are bad religions and less a so strict and millennial one as the Islam what there is is mistaken men that make horrible things on behalf of God. Receives a strong hug and God bless you my dear friend

Dear Khaled , Somtimes it is prefered to be close to the one U r photographing, this time i think U managed the distance and angle very great to describe the state of the man , also the introduction is very good , i myself prefere to show prayers photo in coloured as i feel that praying is not part of the history but it is also present and coming future . Thank U Ahmed
