About These children are the kids of the brick kiln workers. They, too, at such a tender age, work sometimes in the kilns, helping their parents either in filling the moulds or dragging the donkeys with loaded bricks. The little one almost out of the frame refused to get into the picture so I had him half in and half out. Look at his lips - there is the determination to stay out of the party! The rest are quite happy to be in. It is amazing to see them playing in the mud when no work is required of them. They seem to be so happy with their little worlds. Love Subhash.

So much potential in these little ones. Unhindered, they can be our next Einsteins and Martin Luthers. Beautiful work, and a fine example of the best of humanity.

I think it was because the little one was not fully covered and did not have any pants on like all the others. He/she was embarrassed? Just a guess -- anyhow -- we forget there are people/children in the world growing up like this so it is good to see it and be reminded. Your photo here touches the heart.

Very strong portrait. and even stronger expressions on the face. Very nicely done. This really brings out our problem of Child Labour.

A very vivid image! Good idea to place them in front of bricks they may have made themselves.
