Great action " reportage style" shot! In the right place, at the right time and the right reflex. Thanks for sharing. Grtz, Alain

How cool, I think this would be great to see in person. I also didn't realize that they actually used goats for grass control. Why not...they will eat about anything and I do believe that they will eat grass below the root, thus killing the grass. Nice capture and very interesting about. Lee

Thanks C.A. Glad to hear the goat was not headed for the slaughter house. I also love dogs. They are beautiful and loving and always a pleasure to watch. Andree

Well, these are "working goats"-- grazers to keep grass levels, and therefore fire threats, down. He was taken back to the ranch until he went to work again.
When I got there, the two dogs (the other is the same breed, I think) were laying flatten on the ground, watching the herd. If one strayed even a little from where they were supposed to be, the dogs would shoot out to put them back on track. Very cool-- but then again, I love to watch dogs work...
Thanks for looking:)

Great shot. I wondered where the goat was taken.......The dog looks so small and so focused.
