About Another RMNP pic. I really liked the outcome of my shooting in the park, so I am going a bit crazy on the uploads :) I just love this park so much that I feel the need to share.

The moral of the story is that a park as wonderful as RMNP allows anyone to take great photos. Just point and shoot and you get a great shot!

The "fog" is actually blowing snow off the trees. There is a close up of it in the portfolio. It was great watching this occur through the mountains. It was like little mini-twisters all over the valley. I never saw anything like it and was in awe.

Unfortunately this wasn't part of a cross country trip. I only had a week between jobs so I flew out to Denver and skied for a couple days. Then up to RMNP for a few days. Sadly now it is back to work. Sucks when I was young I had time and no money, now I have some money but no time. Come on lotto :)

i think i like this one the best, i enjoy the black and white quality of it, and the tones are excellent, i really like how the fog sits in the valley around RMNP... i have gotten many images of fog doing the same thing, trapped till the sun gets to battle it out and burn it off... wonderful capture, keep the RMNP stuff coming, it would seem like you maybe went on a cross country trip, what other parks did you visit???

Excellent capture, Kevin. I would prefer the B&W to be a little more saturated and a little more contrast. Other than that, nice clouds.
