Excellent street scene which shows, that the winter doesn't give up in Quebec. During our skiing holidays we had 20 degrees, which was not what we expected for skiing.

Pour ce qui est de la neige, que vous croyez abondante, vous n'avez rien vue; là c'est en ville. Ici à la campagne il y en a beaucoup plus, mais elle est blanche.

Eh bien vous êtes chanceuse! la giboulée est une neige mouilleuse qui fond en en arrivant à terre et se mélange au sel que l'on répand dans les rues et qui forme une gadoue écoeurante dans laquelle on doit patauger; ici on appelle ça de la sloche. On se croit alors revenus au Moyen-Age dans le rôle de Martin guerre. Comptez vous chanceuse je vous le dit. :(
