Nice shot. I've just spent a little while looking through your portfolio and it really does all evoke an earlier era. I really enjoyed looking through. I'm up in North Wales 2 or 3 times a year, usually based in Porthmadog so I've stood on the Cob a fair few times myself. A lovely part of the world, and you've done a great job capturing it. Well done.

I just love the shot Nigel, you knew I would. But to me a Jinty is an ex LMS 0-6-0 side tank shunting engine whereas this is an ex GWR 0-6-0 pannier tank. Don't know if the term Jinty was applied to different classes in different areas though. Den

Beautiful. I like the way you've caught the train at a location where the shapes of the tracks also add interest. I suspect there may have been a little more colour in the engine and carriages - did you get other shots? AJ
