Kampung Ayer or Water Village is located at the capital of Brunei Darussalam, which is Bandar Seri Begawan.
Shown in the photo is the mode of transport for the people going to n fro the city. It is known as the "Mutu Tambang" or "Water Taxi"
Kampung Ayer is also known as "The Venice of the East".
There are more than 20,000 people living in Kampung Ayer, and their home are equipped with the modern stuffs e.g. TV, Satellite TV, Telephone, internet, Radio etc.
Electricity and Water are also supplied.
Police Station, Fire Brigades, Schools, Clinics & Masjid are also build "on the water".
