I would agree Judi, the glare adds to the scene but something weird seems to have happened to that lake since your last shot, It appears to be draining away to the left. (giggle).

You're right about the glare in this image Judi. While in many other instances a glare such as this might severly detract from the photograph, this is an example wher a bold breaking of the rules adds dynamics to the picture. Were the glare handled in typical manner this photo would be a very nice piece but would not have the high impact that this carries. Wonderful backlighting on the plants.

I do like the glare, most of the background photography knowledge do, in fact some time they add artificial flares to make the scene more real. The fore ground "grass" gives a dramatic feel, outstanding and well use of the direct sun rays, wonderful balanced capture, Saeed
