Todd, I just got back froma month in New Zealand. I have a ton of cool shots to submit, eventually. But what about the real shallow depth of field in this shot, was that PS too, or natural? Mark
hi Mark... i like this one better than B&W...the tones in the tree trunk look wonderful. i really like the idea here, the way the girl is framed so tightly by the trees. nice work! and thanks for your recent comment on my 'ptolemy' shot... it was just a straw in a cup of soda at chipotle with LOTS of PS coloring work. take care, todd
very nice work here. looking at both versions, i actually prefer this one over the bw. general i shoot bw and prefer bw images more, but the red and green hues here really work well. the red also helps to pull out the textures in the tree bark. it also works very well having the subject walking by, gives this a whole different sense than just the trees. nice job.
