thats the strobes coming in from the side... and casting the shadow on the door. -- the reason I cropped as such was also for the graident provided in the overall picture.. white to dark from left to right. -- this one I accept your comments, but artistically disagree -- and while I might agree with a small re-crop.. would not alter too much.

James. I think Pat makes the same point I would. i love neg space - although this is filled with a barn door, it's a little lacking in impact when you have such a pretty model standing next to it taking all the attention. i'd shoot inside teh door with her coming in, using a high key effect - It'd look great through hair and she's got a beautiful soft look that would suit that type of image. Lets see more of Em. I give her 7/7 but the photo only 5.5/7 Rgds Matt PS - Did you mess around with her eyes here too? Looks a little suspect unless that's just the light!

Gorgeous! They only critique I would offer is to have her look into the frame (towards the right) The composition seems a bit off. Kinda crowded on the left side of the frame. Having her look to her left may relive the crowded feeling. None the less a good shot. The exposure is very nice. Very clean photograph.
