Merci, Drilan. I do enjoy my travels--especially when I can take my camera along. My wife is the real traveller, and so she even encourages my photography so that I will be a congenial travelling companion.
But I also do enjoy taking photos near my home. That is what I did yesterday, and I hope to find something from that small journey that is interesting enough to publish here.
And I especially appreciate your wit, your good words and your fine photos. Now--if only I make a real effort to learn a bit of French . . . !

Lovely perspective and a women to give an idea of scale. The artificial light has been kind to you as well, yellow is much better than the green some of them produce.

Thanks, Antonio. You do have a keen eye. On the other hand, this was done in available light with a 4mp camera at ISO 800. If I get back, I'll use the Canon 20D!
