A scene from a street in Dublin. In this photo you can see people from China, Ireland, the UK and Eastern Europe. Ireland, once entirely mono-cultural, has become a globalised society.
Hi Ferdinand....do it!!!!! Take out the old Leica you have, it's IMPERATIVE when you have such a jewel, a marvel of construction and outstanding lenses to let it sit....and, please, encourage me to do the same!!!
Hi Antonella - many thanks for your kind comments! When I bought the Panasonic, some people told me that a Leica lens with a digital camera would make no difference. In fact, I think the lens is wonderful. I also have rather an old Leica camera - must get it out again...!
Extremely interesting picture, Ferdinand, I also notice that the lens of your cam is superb. Maybe you don't know it, but I am a Leica fan and I own 3 analogic Leica bodies and several lenses. Unfortunately, it is more practical and immediate to work with a digital SRL and for this reason I use Nikon or Canon cameras, but be sure that my Leicas, besides being in my heart, are also always sitting in front of me. It's like a cult....I don't know how to explain it....I LOVE them and I'm only too lazy to pass through the lab. But from time to time I still use Fuji Velvia film and have cybachrome prints like in the old times. Many congrats!!!!!
This is really cool..it reminds me of a fashion ad..your eye wants to go to the platnum blonde in her beautiful coat..great image... For your reasons and mine.
