About This is my first picture with my new 20D.Same technique as the sunflower (picture below of set up). This camera takes pictures so creamy smooth I love it ,no noise. This is some colored pens on a black background,I should have done a better job cleaning my glass or cleaned up in PS , there is some dust spots that mess the shot up and distract a little,

The secret is, dont tell any one.
Rain X . You can buy it at walmart or any auto parts store. One bottle will do all your car windows and still leave enough to last you forever shooting drops. Its about 4 dollars a bottle. It makes the beads stand very high and much bigger drops are possible.

I just love this trick, Dan. I understand your explanation (thank you, by the way), except one thing: How do you get your drops to stand so tall and round? I've tried car wax, among other things, and nothing makes the drops as tall and proud as yours. What am I missing?
