About Dan, I was trying to do exactly as in your Technique, but rezult not so good.
Maybe my acquarium is too small(in a pictures your looks much bigger). I did more then 200! images, and only 2 of them can now show for you, and ask your assistance. Only flowers coming nice, I'll upload them tomorrow. I think I did a lot of mistakes, but what I know exactly now -
It's a BIG FUN... I will continue these experiments.
Thank you, Dan, so much.

An interesting experiment, and I definitely like the result you had in this one. The blur effect is great and the pic contains many interesting details.
Excellent work, Lena!!!

Thanks, Dan, very much. I will try to do this outside, I think you're right - not enough light.
But what I really like - it's flowers. I was happy when I got it. I dedicate them all to you, dear friend. I will upload them today.

I like this you Elena yours is different but I like the motion .I think the difference comes from the lighting I should have been more specific, I use a Britek PS- 200 which is pictured in my setup It isnt a flood light its a strobe light or flash it connects to my camera.Do you have any type of external flash for you camera? You can take this type picture with out a strobe if you have more light. You could take it outside and use sun light and a reflector. Increase your shutter speed to around 1/350 of a second. It will stop the motion.

WOW, yes I can see what you mean...
Although the same subject, totally different pictures though.
Dan's is more art, while yours is more movement, more about falling... if I can make myself clear ;)
I still like your version too...
Regards
Lida

I do not know about Dan's technique, but this is really good.
I like the movement and the colors.
A beautiful composition... only maybe it could have been slightly sharper though...

Did you throw a lemon in a aquarium?

Anyway...
Very creative, very well done...
Think Dan is a good teacher ;)
