On an abstract level.. the two petals rising from the back also gives it a sense of

An excelent image with good DOF. the yellow of the stamens is wonderful. I would have liked to see the image in a slightly different crop with a little more of the flower under the stamen and the top of th eimage cropped to cut out th edark backgorund.
