Excellent shot, really like all the different lines and the lights make me feel like i'm playing connect the dots. Just wondering what it would look like in b&w. Keep up the great work.

Oh, that?s a bad luck; I can understand the way you feel, it?s such a lovely machine! [my dream camera; I had Nikon F75 before changing to digital, so I know something about it]. Wishing you quick camera return, best regards, Pawel

Excellent night shot, Pawel.
Kind regards, Chris
P.S. My D70 developed some kind of intermittent focussing problem. Thanks for asking!

Dear Russell, that?s all correct what you both say and I?ve found the tree there after the picture was taken. In general, I?m not a big fan of a software adjustment- even though the pictures are taken in a digital way. I try to post them as they come out of camera, so I can tell: good or bad pic.
This particular picture was taken from inside of my car parked along the motorway during the heavy rain- so pretty tough conditions. Anyway, I appreciate all the comments and suggestions- they can only improve my skills. Thank you very much to both of you, please keep posting !! Best regards, Pawel

Pawel,
Awesome capture.
Industrial photos are my favourite and this just sums up my reasons.
Love the colour from the lighting you have achieved, the green is great.
Alastair has made some great comments, for me I find the tree in the top right distracting, I think you have done well to use it in the image, but I feel that the overall photo would be better with ut removed.
Keep up the great work
Russell

I quite like industrial photos and have a similar one to this myself! I like the composition of this photo and the colours but i think the highlights are over exposed and there is too much noise. Also the horizon is tilted which is distracting. Try underexposing a bit more then adjusting the levels in photoshop. This will generally fix the over exposed highlights. To remove the noise you can either select all the parts of the image that show noise (in this case the dark areas off the background) and apply a little gaussian blur (only works if there is no detail you wish to keep) or run the image through an application such as NeatImage (free download). The horizon is easily fixed in PS.

Nice effort though!

Preciosa foto!

parece un estación espeacial.

La iluminación nocturna de las industrias da un aspecto bello, a las sucios fierros.

H.
