About This is the wier on the Wharf in Otley. It's an amazingly curvey structure that straddles for about 100 yeards diagonally across the river - presumably to power mills in the victorian era.

These birds really like taking a chance - moments before there was a full length of gulls, I managed to get these before they too disappeared.

I was more interested int he water and wier anyway really.

Taken on Monday on a little outing with Steve Bowden and Dav Johal, no idea what the cafe's name was that Steve took us too - but if you get chance, ask him and go there!

I'm not sticking my toes in there. It looks so cold and I value them too much. Again I'm amazed at your skill of selecting the right shutter speed to give the incredible texture to the water Ade. And you got the gulls to stand still for so long.

Love the curves and flowing water, and a bonus to get the birds. Bet you deserved a 'nice cuppa' after being out in this weather.

Good capture of the Wharf.
Nice catch of the birds :)
I like the transverse water lines and the cropping of the image.
Well done,
Khaled.

It was the Corner Cafe Ade - and I am still stuffed lol

Super capture Ade, the horizontal lines and perspective are totally awesome.

The zoom on that lens is excellent - I struggle on mine lol

Best wishes,
Steve
