Thanks Curtis, I'll give it a try. I remember thinking I didn't want to take too much of the top down because the horizontal top bar would give to much of a 'framed' feeling, which I didn't want. I didn't think of going off center or taking some off the bottom.

Thanks for the comments. This is one of yours I find the most interesting. The silhouetted form against the light and behind the soft curtain makes a strong compare/contrast. Something with the composition seems it could use cropping, but it may altogether change what you want. As of now the subject is centered both vertically and horizontally, leaving a large negative space at top. The horizontal lines break this space some, but it may still be a bit much. It's hard to say without seeing a cropped version, but it's something you may want to consider. By cropping down the dark shape of the woman would be able to pull out more abstract and interesting negative shapes, rather than a large area. but who knows, looking at it again i'm not sure, may want to play with it and see what you think, either way though, nice work.
