Yeah, Neil's right Dave. It's been so long since we had snow. It was one of things that has stuck from our trip to Canada last year - feeling the crunch underfoot when you walk on it. Thanks for sharing this great reminder.

Winter seems to have forgotten us this year.
Had a few flurries on Sunday but otherwise it always seems to change to boring rain by the time it gets to us.

Nice shot dave. I see this sort of thing all the time. I have snuck up on them more than once thinking it was a eagle perched in a tree. A broken branch with a cap of snow from a couple hundred yard can fool ya. The good thing is, when I peek up over the bluff they are always still there. Most times the birds are not.
