This photo stands out for me due to an almost oil paint look to it. Also the composition is something original as far as I am concerned.

Thanks Geza. In fact the birds are not really very close. I used a zoom lens at 300mm in my Canon 300D camera which has got a 1.6 focal length factor. So it’s actually photographed at 480mm.
