nice image... have not been to chicago since they put this up... need to go back to see it... love the reflection.. it is definitely an eye catching sculpture and you captured it nicely. Maybe I would have focused more on the sculpture than the surrounding area but this a minor point.. good work

Hi, the title is a typo. The name of the sculpture is actually Cloud Gate, not Cloud sky. It still doesn't explain the absense of clouds but the title was meant to echo the name of the sculpture. I edited the title....thanks, -mm

It's a great photo, but I'm curious why you titled it "cloud sky." I see sky, but no clouds.

I imagine this is harder to photograph than it looks. I'm going to have to see this on my next visit. And remember to bring my sunglasses.

Truly a great find. Wonderful composition and enough background to give scale to the sculpture.

Nice shot, Mark. No need for an expensive fish-eye lens. Just go on down to "The Bean."!

Congrats

This sculpture looks fantastic for taking pictures of! Especially on a day like the day you picked, the reflections look amazing, I love the distortion, the curved buildings look surreal...I'd be tempted to get in closer and fill the frame with these reflections. Great image, well executed. Thanks.

Hey, I remember Mork, and I consider myself fairly young still.

As to the pic, it is truely interesting. I might have to find my way up there to see it sometime.
