My early experiences of the Holman Bible have been a little disappointing, John. Take Hebrews 10;1, for example ~ it seems very clumsy. I'm not that keen on John 3:16 or I John 3:16 either. But, to be fair, my experience so far is very limited.

Evocative image, John!!
I was given a new Bible by my local Christian bookstore, last Monday. It's called the Holman Christian Standard Bible and the manager wanted me to recommend it to my congregation!
