I used to have a Canon AE-1 and loved it! Now I have a digital and the freedom from film is terrific for posting, storing and playing with my pics in the computer. Even though my husband has a better camera and lenses I have not been happy with our photo labs conversion of film to digital because the resolution is so poor. I do have a scanner here at home as well but scanning negs in myself is more time consuming. There is a digital body out now that will accomodate all the lenses for his Canon Eos Elan so when it comes down in price a bit he wants to switch over as well. It is a difficult choice but if you don't get a quality scan from your film then a new computer and software may still not give you the resolution you really want.

Yes, this is a bearded Iris. Don't ask what type because I really can't remember.
No, I don't scan my own negatives. I let the lab that develops the film do the scanning,I just chop and resize. I've been meaning to build a new computer to be able to do some scanning and use PS, but for some reason it keeps getting placed on the back burner.

Is this a bearded iris? Mine just won't bloom so I think I will move them -- maybe too much shade! This is a lovely specimen! Do you scan your images in to convert for posting?
