Thank you for your comments Peter. This photo is actually taken at the edge of a small pond after our New England Blizzard of a few weeks ago. We got a total of 30+ inches. The wind did a wonderful job of adding texture, shadow and design to an otherwise white baren landscape.

Wonderful textures and lines you got here .. bravo, love it .. was this on the beach, or at a lake border ? (suppose the second) .. nice diagonal buildup, and good dof also to the back of the photo !

excellent! great symbols, perfect title and about! seven is a powerful number and "brave" does acompany it, in my personal mythology as well. seems as if some samurai didn't their swords; just left them "braving the cold and wind"...
