About Below look at the colour version. I tried to maximise angle in order to take advantage of the wall's rocky texture.

This is an intriguing picture. I really like the way you took it from the differnt than usual angle. The title is so appropriate for you picture.

Sorry it took awhile to answer. I did move back and took a series of shots. They look OK but they were your basic vacation pictures and frankly were VERY "bland" and generic, great for the photo album but hardly anything interesting. As you pointed out, I was very close to the wall, in fact I was leaning completely against the steps of the pyramid. THanks for your observation. -- R

Yeah, surely well toned !
This makes the stones contrast much better imho.. and the blue sky is softened to keep the attention on this gigantic slope ..

The top is hardly visible due to the close viewpoint to the slope, but of course this is a sacrifice to make to give this slope close-up .. did you try from further on, and with more zoom to the top of the slope ?

Well done !
Peter

Once again, a fascinating and original take of a much photographed place, with excellent results...

very nice shot, the edge like form and the contrast between the pyramid and sky are amazing, enhance the feeling of ambiguity, positive and negative relation are clear. good work and welcome to Egypt

Both versions are excellent. The radical angle does give an entirely different perspective.

Colour version, I like the heavily saturated colors. I think I lost maybe 1/2 F Stop, maybe more due to the polirising filter and probably the lens hood.
