About So, is this one better (or as good) as my last eye photo? I wasn't sure about this one, but since I got such a positive response on my last eye pic, I thought I might as well put it up. After I cropped it and balanced the colours it turned out better than I thought it would. And it suits today. Imagine my surprise when my mother takes me to Portland Running Co. and helps me buy running shoes and running cloths (instead of my yoga top, basketball shorts, and basketball shoes I've been using). I still had to pay a half. She's been kinda against me running the Portland Marathon. I think this is her way of giving me permission. I'm so excited! So what did I do when I got home? I ran five and a half miles, that's what I did. I'm really starting to enjoy this running. And it's making me look good. Inside and out, I suppose. It's making me happier. Supposedly, working out releases chemicals in your body that make you happier. I agree.

I've heard they're not for everyone though. Some parents are refusing to put their kids on meds.

Good to know. I heard this Adult guy on the radio telling the doctor that it totally did that for him (the focusing stuff). I never heard of adults using it before. i need to focus more. Hmmmm.......interesting....

Oh yes. Very much so. I couldn't learn how to read, so in second grade my parents went with me to see a shrink (my teachers were complaining about me and my brother's teachers were threatening to throw him out of school (in preschool) if my parents didn't do something about his behaviour) and he put me on a very small dosage. There was an immediate change and my teachers were blown away. A few years later, I got into the most prestigious private school in the NW. When I don't take my pills, my day is horrible because I can't focus. Although, sometimes my Dad mixes up my dosage with my brothers (he takes about twice what I do) and I feel kinda...blah.

Seriously, how is that stuff. I heard on a radio talk show with a doctor that it helps you focus - even adults. Did you find that?

Actually, I do take meds that would be illegal if they weren't prescribed to me for my ADD. So...my pupils are always a bit dialated.

Someone got into the MEDS (Running story was a good try) Look at that dialated pupil...Don't be driving on that stuff - safety first (best to stay home and watch "The Big Lebowski" on DVD ).........
