Kevin,
I'm sure you'll love the D70. I have only had mine for about a month - a gift from my understanding wife - and am in the early stages of working with it. I particularly like the fact that I am able to use my favorite lens from my N70 with the digital body. It is the first digital camera of any kind I have owned, and I am still adjsuting to the concept of "no negative". Silly, but it is scary to me. The negative is a security blanket - where I know they can get lost or damaged, but I am comfortable with that - while I fret about wiping out the digital image.
I will tell you however, after shooting with the D70 for only a short while, I picked up my N70 one day, and without thinking, after I took a photo, I instinctively looked at the back of the camera - looking for that instant feedback !!! I had to laugh at myself.
Best of luck with your new toy, and I wish you much joy.
Best regards, Mark.
