About This is for Kay my Texan friend. Dominick was wearing his brothers cowboy hat which was a bit small but I love the way the whole scene looked as he was watching cartoons. His face looks a little grainy I tried to adjust but that is a lesson I have not learned yet. It also seems a bit darker online that it did before I uploaded.

You have a wonderful cowboy, Karen!

For me it?s very natural and it shows a piece of his life, that he -of course- is enjoying :))

Hi Karen? yes, it is a good shot!
But the picture could benefit from a little contrast/light adjustment? here?s a quick stab at it.

MY KIND OF COWBOY!! Thanks, Karen! Dominick makes a wonderful Texan- tell him I said so! He can come ride my horse anyday! It isn't too dark- it shows that you captured him in the moment and that he wasn't posing. Great work, Karen!

Adorable shot! I love the way he is sitting and his expression is cute too! I think it would be nice if there was a little more contrast, but it still looks nice anyway! Good work! :)

This is an adorable shot. The thing I like best is the perspective and composition. It is dark, but it is interesting for that. Sometimes unconventional lighting works from an artistic standpoint, and in this case I think it does work. The light on his sock draws attention away from the face, but that doesn't matter...it is an asset to the image because it forces the viewer to take in his pose completely. There is a lot of weight in the hat and upper body, so the bright light on the socks just seems to balance everything...broadens the tonal range too. That said, I'm fighting the urge to play with it in PS to see how it looks with some of the lighter skin tones enhanced just a bit. But that's just the PS addict speaking (she sits on my other shoulder). Hugs. Antonia
