m i piace anche quella piccola artefazione che il sensore dà sulle alte luci!!!
il cielo in questo caso, così "granato" è molto piaceole e nel contesto crea ancora piu' atmosfera..

You are right when you say the sky seems to be painted: it may be a problem of low resolution or bad compression, I think... When I took this photo, some months ago, PhotoShop was a mistery to me and my camera... too!
The image is cluttered, but the place is a little town of fishermen with a cluttered harbour: I wanted to highlight this characteristic of the place, besides the pastel colours in the sunset hour.

Carla, it's certainly a pretty place but the image is a bit cluttered and I'm not sure what we're to make of the sky - it looks like you hand painted it! A little more lead-in might help give the eye somewhere to rest, maybe a shot taken a little more to the right using the curve of boats and buildings would do it.
