The choice of DOF combined with the compositional draw of the tall building in the background is an interesting decision. Was it intentional to make this building any sort of focus point? While this element (the prominent and recognizable, but out-of-focus, building) makes the image stand apart more, I'm not sure it necessarily adds to it; then again, I'm not sure it necessarily detracts, either. Nonetheless, it does add a bit of uniqueness to what might otherwise be a quite decent, but not particularly novel image of ice crystals.
