i beg to differ...the dark background is perfect to focus on the main event...it is too yummy!...capturing these small moments in life is simply lovely,important and you did very well!...clarity/lighting work very well...regards,gayle

thank you - yes the plate was dark which didnt help. I have enjoyed myself photographing my childrens desserts when we go out to dinner of late. All very trivial stuff!
