I like this shot, Sandra, in spite of the centering of the lighthouse. I think the shape of the rocks reaching out into the water makes up for that.

Nice shot. I love your lighthouse pics...I think you might even have more than in RI lol. I noticed you have a tendenecy to center the most important visual elements in the frame (in this case the house and the horizon). Drawing an imaginary grid where both horizontal and vertical are divided inthirds, and generally the most important elements are placed on one of the four intersecting points. Check out the attachment, which kind of shows what I am saying. By the way thanks for your recent comment,

Might be better if the lighthouse was not dead center of the photo. Overall a very good photo.
