Markus, you really found an excellent subject to photograph. I love the textures, the detail and the colours. And quit an impressive flower. Your new lens really performs well. I may have given it slightly more DOF and got the bottom tack sharp as well. Still, a very pleasing shot. Well done.
I am really happy, Christian. And if I have more time, I shall try hard, to make better pictures. This one was just shot on the fly. But If you look at the details, you can feel this little discomfort, Nicole mentioned. I probably has to do with sex and the sexual signals these flower sends out ;-)
Wow ! How impressive. You must be happy with your new "serious glass". Macro will require working on a tripod with small aperture in order to have good depth of field.
