The Brazilian National Congress is placed in the esplanade of the Ministries, in the center of Brasília. Its form of a " H " of the it symbolizes the man in foot, immortal. The charm of the building is in to its heady lines and of modern architecture, especially lit up in the month of December. The cupulas, that remind basins, shelter the plenary of the Camera, the convex, and the one of the Senate, the concave. A runner ties the enclosures, where they are the administrative cabinets. That same road takes to the collection of cultural works of the Congress, that counts with the winter gardens of it Defrauds Marx, tiles and panels of Athos Bulcão, works of Alfredo Ceschiatti and Marianne Peretti, Persian rugs, besides several other works of art.
Let me be the first to say that it looks as if you captured a pair of flying saucers. :-) It is very striking architecture. Thanks for bringing it from Brazil to the rest of us.
